BIOSHIELD is a monitoring system that detects presence of aerobic bacteria on solid surface. Water is passed through a set of Probes and each signal obtained from Probe sis compared with two threshold levels: when any signal overcomes the High Threshold the biocide pump is activated; when the signals become lower than the Low Threshold the pump is disactivated.
BIOSHIELD injects the right amount of biocide when and as long as necessary to remove the bacteria layer. 
Long term experience in industrial cooling water circuits has proven the substantial saving in chemicals and environmental costs and the reduction of corrosivity and pollution of the water.
