Before to start with any intervention of restoration or reinforcement of decayed structures made by brickwork or concrete it is necessary to schedule a careful diagnostic campaign which permits, first of all, to know the rear condition of the structure and of the relative materials to avoid coarse errors in the reclamation. 
The scheduled phases are: 
- to determine the actual state of the structures 
- to determine how much time the reinforced structure can wear 
- to choose the more suitable kind of intervention considering the previous points 
- to guarantee that the restoration is made well like scheduled.
